THMC expands HBO's online presence with the "CyberSoulCity" web site
THMC conceived, developed and launched this Afrocentric web site for Home Box Office in February 1996. CyberSoul City allowed HBO to gather and evaluate critical consumer data about visitors to the site. Teasers for premiere movies, comedy specials, music CDs, plus a national sweepstakes, chats and sports trivia were originally made available on the site. Branding didn't stop on the web. THMC's phat (cool), hip-hop CyberSoul City logo adorned baseball caps, t-shirts, headbands, events, programming and advertising targeted to African Americans. |
