ENERGY UTILITY MARKETING
Since 1985, THMC has developed successful, award-winning residential and commercial marketing campaigns for PSE&G and GPU, the two largest energy utilities in New Jersey. Programs such as The E-Team, Hot Dollars, Warm-Up to Hats, the Natural Gas Vehicle: Clean Energy for Clean Air, We've Got You Covered and Make New Jersey Your Power Base were created to educate customers about energy conservation techniques and promote various PSE&G and GPU services. |

THMC helps PSE&G to get their customers to "Seal-Up and Save" on energy costs
THMC created the "E-Team" to increase participation of Public Service and Electric and Gas' low-income customers in their "Seal-Up and Save" energy conservation program. The campaign also helped to improve the utility's image among this customer base. The bilingual E-Team campaign attracted more than 15,000 low-income and older New Jersey residents to energy conservation workshops held each year throughout the State. The actual number of customers who requested the utility's free weatherization services has more than doubled each year since the campaign began in 1985. The E-Team serves as friendly and helpful representatives of PSE&G. THMC produced newspaper, radio and transit advertising, billboards, posters, brochures, flyers, workbooks, press kits and novelty items promoting the E-Team's "Seal-Up and Save" message. The campaign won the US Department of Energy Award for Most Innovative Marketing Campaign of an Energy Conservation Program for 1986 and 1987.

THMC has PSE&G "Covered" with an innovative approach to marketing service contracts to African American residents
THMC recently completed an advertising and marketing awareness campaign for PSE&G to familiarize and educate African-American residential consumers about the benefits of it's WorryFree Service Contracts program. The campaign was launched in the Newark Metro area which comprises the largest concentration of African American residents in the state. THMC's strategy to reach and promote continued awareness of the WorryFree program to generate requests for applications from this important segment included the use of radio, newspaper, outdoor, transit advertising and a direct mail campaign which featured a sweepstakes contest.
THMC's compelling, upbeat campaign theme "We've Got You Covered" positioned PSE&G as the service contract provider of choice for New Jersey's African-American residents and it also leveraged it's long-term trust and service in the community.

THMC drives home PSE&G's leadership in new technologies with a marketing and program identity campaign
By developing a distinctive program identity and marketing package for Natural Gas Vehicles, THMC positioned PSE&G as a business and industry leader in alternate fuel technologies. A "clean air" kit, directed to fleet owners, included a brochure and video that addressed concerns about safety, efficiency and fuel availability. We developed the catchy slogan "Clean Energy for Clean Air," that appeared on all marketing materials.
